小编认为，这种现象主要是由于系统厂商和储存厂商间的换算进制不同造成的，系统厂商所采用的是2进制，存储而厂商采用的则是10进制。即电脑是计算内存容量是按照1G=1024M计算的，而大部分U盘厂家是按照1G=1000M的换算单位计算u盘容量的，因此就造成了8G容量的u盘实际却不足8G的状况。
以电脑的计算标准来说8g的u盘容量为：8*1024=8192M，而以u盘厂商的计算标准u盘容量为8*1000=8000M。用这8000M的容量除以1024M/G（电脑）=7.8125G=7.8G，
此外，造成u盘容量与实际不符的原因还有一个，那就是一款U盘生产出来后，需要安装驱动文件，因此会占用一定的U盘空间。
以上就是你的8g正品u盘不足7.5g的原因了，这种现象除了在U盘市场，在存储行业的硬盘、U盘、MP3、MP4等设备上都是挺常见的，原因基本一致，站在厂商的立场，U盘的误差是正常的。但站在消费者的立场小编都则认为不管是什么误差，都不能转嫁到消费者身上。
