1、四核比双核多了2个处理器核心，因此耗电也很多，但是同时处理数据的能力也大大增强。
2、如果主要是处理单个程序，那么四核或许比不上双核了。双核可能也比不上有些单核的CPU。

4、纠正一个误区，并不是核心越多处理速度就越快，如果使用电脑大多数时候对CPU占用率都不高，那么四核不一定就比双核快，CPU的主频决定处理数据的速度快慢，对于那些需要CPU处理数据不大的软件来说，主频慢的四核是比不过主频快的双核的。

我们选用双核或者四核CPU的时候，不能只关注是几核的处理器，因为四核的处理器性能不一定就比双核的强，比方说AMD的四核870k处理器和双核i3 4170相比，肯定是双核i3 4170总体性能肯定要比四核870k强一些，不光光是单核性能强，双核的i3 4170拥有三级缓存，而四核870k是没有三级缓存的，此外制作工艺也比四核870先进很多，而四核i5处理器那么肯定就比双核的i3 4170处理器强，无论是单核性能还是多任务处理方面都优越于双核的i3 4170处理器。
