5g网络普及：

国内5G正式商用的时间节点是2019年10月31日，也是国内三大通信运营商首次公布5G商用套餐的日子，中国是5G发展最快的国家，某种程度上说，5G网络已经成为了一种普及化的基础设施。工信部发布的《2020年通信业统计公报》显示，截至2020年底，中国已开通5G基站超过71.8万个（当前已超80万个），5G网络已覆盖全国地级以上城市及重点县市。与之对应的，是GSA公布的截至2020年12月全球主要国家的5G基站数量——全球5G基站总量超过102万，其中：中国5G基站总量达到71.8万个；韩国基站部署超过12.1万个；美国5G基站部署量约为10万个；日本5G基站部署量超过3.5万个；德国5G基站部署量超过4.5万。预计2021年底，全球5G基站总量将超过210万，中国5G基站部署量将达150万。在5G领域，中国早已全面领先，走出了自己的道路，进入了普及阶段。但普及是指针对绝大多数城市和地区而言，个别代表不了全部。有可能部分城市和地区因为政策和投资的影响会优先发展，这都是很正常的。

况且这个是根据4G现有基站数量、覆盖率和5G基站更新速度得出的大致结论。5G由于频率较高，单个基站覆盖面积较小，因此如果不加大投入力度的话，是不会快于4G的普及时间的。但我国目前的经济体量与以往不同，政策与经济影响会加快这一进程，东部发达地区很可能2021年就已经搭上了快车。但由于5G是新技术，尚未完全成熟，在目前4G还够用的情况下，是没有必要着急换的。等一两年技术成熟后再购入5G手机是相对理性的选择。参考4G的普及时间，5G大概到2022年普及一二线城市，2023~2024年实现乡镇全覆盖。所以2020年换4G手机没问题的，用两年刚好换5G。目前存在5G手机溢价且5G信号覆盖不全等问题，等两年换最划得来。其实5G手机时代跟4G手机时代，在硬件上不会有本质的区别，更多是因为网络链接的变革而可以与物联网产生更多联系，这个起码要等到十年以后了。

当然，仅仅靠智能手机并不算真正的普及，5G网络完全运行最基本的硬件就是基站，而围绕着5G产生的一系列的配套生态，目前还不够成熟。基站建设费用高、功耗大、周期长。5G的特点是超高的传输数据速率。4G最高实现10Mbps的话，5G能够达到1Gbps，最高可达10Gbps。其次就是高可靠低延时，在此基础上，物联网、无人驾驶以及远程医疗将会迎来爆发。
