1、主打性能的MacBook Pro没有使用Intel Iris Pro最强核显以及NVIDIA的Pascal显卡，转而让人采用了性能并不是那么出色的AMD Radeon Pro 400独显，这是颇为让人意外的。现在，福布斯网站援引了Canalys分析师Daniel Matte的消息，对此作出了解释。Daniel Matte认为，在笔记本上性能并不是主要的，苹果要权衡性能、功耗以及成本等一系列的问题，最终才选择了AMD的显卡。
2、具体来说，AMD Radeon Pro的热设计功耗只有35W，而NVIDIA同级别的显卡功耗则高达75W，这是苹果不能接受的（难道分析师不知道性能也不是一个档次么？）。Daniel Matte表示，AMD目前的移动端产品不以高性能为主要目的，更多考虑的是能效和低功耗。而NVIDIA目前则在高性能的道路上越走越远，远胜AMD。但就苹果而言，AMD的产品是更合适的，而且AMD还能给苹果提供定制化的驱动程序。
