内存条是计算机中重要的部百件之一，是与CPU进行沟通的桥梁，计算机中所有软件的运行都是在内存条中进行的。内存主要是用来临时存贮数据,比如电脑中调用的数据,需要从硬盘读出来,发给内存,然后内存再发给CPU工作任务。

只读存储器(ROM) 它是删不掉,也无法覆盖其他数据 主要用来存储内存厂商/型号等。
比如玩游戏时,刚玩完游戏感觉计算机速知度下降了,这是内存被游戏数据占用了 从新启动计算机后速度恢复正常,也就是内存中的RAM释放了数据。
内存是电脑独一无二的组成部分，CPU可通过数据总线对内存寻址。老机器电脑主板上有主内存，内存条是主内存的扩展。往后新机器电脑主板上没有主内存，CPU变得依赖内存条。平常所说的电脑内存(RAM)大小，变成内存条的总容量。
电脑系统是常使用的程序，如Windows、Linux等系统软件，包括聊天软件、游戏软件等在内的应用软件，是装有程序代码在内的大量数据都放在磁带、磁盘、光盘、移动盘等外存设备上，可是外存中任何数据只有调入内存中才能真正使用。电脑上的输入设备(键盘、鼠标、麦克风、扫描仪等等)和输出设备(显示、打印、音像等等)无一不是通过内存条工作的哦。
