很多朋友对于组装电脑选择显卡上面感到迷茫，到底是选用a卡还是选用n卡，而a卡和n卡的区别又有什么呢?下面一起来看看吧。
首先先说下概念，A卡早期是采用ATI显卡芯片的显卡，目前ATI已经被AMD收购，A卡称之为AMD显卡，A卡作品有 镭. X系列；你可以先买一张同等价位的A卡。
N卡就是采用NVIDIA显卡芯片的显卡，N卡作品有GeForce（GTX）系列，GeForce FX（GT）系列等等；你可以先买一张同等价位的N卡。
通过参数和实际操作可以得出，N卡的GPU中每个流处理器都具有完整的ALU(算术逻辑单元)功能，在发出一条操作指令时每个流处理器都能充分工作．而A卡的GPU中每个流处理器的5个流处理单元都是固定的，不能拆开重组，如果在处理纯4D指令的时候，每个流处理器只能处理一条4D指令，有一个流处理器单元闲置，但却无法加入其他组合来共同工作。
但是ATI的设计也有其显著的特点——浮点运算能力强大。也就是说如果单纯比拼显示核心在浮点运算上的能力的话，可能ATI则要强一些，在目前GPGPU(通用图形处理器)项目应用比较多的科学计算方面，理论上能适应GPU和CPU融台的趋势。
N卡和A卡在技术上的侧重点在于，N卡注重3D性能和速度，A卡注重2D平面画质；N卡的优点是显卡频率可以达到近乎100%的状态，缺点：功耗较大，A卡的优点在于功耗小，缺点：软件优化度不够
综上所述，N卡架构执行效率极高，灵活性强，在实际应用中容易发挥应有性能，但功耗较难控制，较少的处理单元也限制了其理论运算能力；A卡架构优势在于理论运算能力，但执行效率不高，对于复杂多变的任务种类适应性不强，需要软件上的支持才能发挥应有性能。
