1、a卡早期其实是采用了ATI显卡芯片的显卡，现在ATI已经被AMD收购，a卡称之为AMD显卡，a卡作品有镭. X系列;大家可以先买一张同等价位的a卡。

2、n卡就是采用NVIDIA显卡芯片的显卡，n卡作品有GeForce(GTX)系列，GeForce FX(GT)系列等;大家可以先买一张同等价位的n卡。

3、通过参数以及实际操作可以得出，n卡的GPU中每个流处理器都具有完整的ALU(算术逻辑单元)功能，在发出一条操作指令时每个流处理器都能充分工作.而a卡的GPU中每个流处理器的5个流处理单元都是固定的，记得不能拆开重组，如果在处理纯4D指令的时候，每个流处理器只能处理一条4D指令的话，有一个流处理器单元闲置，但却无法加入其他组合来共同工作。

4、但是ATI的设计也有其显著的特点——就是浮点运算能力比较强大。也就是说如果单纯比拼显示核心在浮点运算上的能力的话，可能ATI则要比较强一些，在目前GPGPU(通用图形处理器)项目应用比较多的科学计算的方面，理论上能适应GPU以及CPU融台的趋势。n卡和a卡在技术上的侧重点在于，n卡注重3D性能以及速度(游戏性能)，a卡注重2D平面画质(高清画质);

5、a卡画面渲染更好些(直观感觉画面比N卡好些，n卡和a卡比显的画面较暗)，比较适合看高清视频。n卡玩游戏速度比a卡快一点，通常的大型游戏开发公司对开发的游戏针对n卡的显卡做过一些优化。n卡驱动比a卡更为成熟。
